Mobile application privacy policy

1. General provisions

1.1. This Policy describes how the Operator (the Company; see clause 1.4) processes user data in mobile applications developed by the Company, including the TelePanel app and companion apps for controlling Telemetrika devices via SMS (collectively, the Applications).

1.2. This Policy supplements the Privacy Policy on telemetrica.ru. Matters not covered here are governed by that Policy.

1.3. The Company may update the Applications and this Policy. The current version is published on the Company’s website.

1.4. Legal entity and name variants. The operator of personal data under this Policy is ООО «Телеметрика» (a Russian limited liability company). In English-language corporate documents the Company may be referred to as Telemetrika Co. Ltd. In the Apple App Store and in the Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) register the same entity is listed as TELEMETRIKA, OOO (D-U-N-S^® Number: 522120244). These designations identify the same legal person; any of them used in this Policy, in the Applications, or in store listings has the same meaning.

2. Purposes of processing

2.1. To provide Application functionality: adding and managing devices, sending commands, and cloud synchronization (for TelePanel and other apps with user accounts).

2.2. To collect technical or de-identified usage and crash data to improve stability and usability (when the user has not disabled analytics and crash reporting in Application settings).

2.3. To handle user support requests.

3. Categories of data

3.1. Data on the user’s device (depending on the Application and OS permissions): device and contact phone numbers (to pick a number when adding a device), SMS command texts generated by the Application, and device settings. Unless stated otherwise below, such data is stored on the device and is not transmitted to the Company.

3.2. SMS and contacts. SMS companion apps do not access incoming SMS or call logs: they build a command text and pass it to the system SMS app. Contact access is used only to select a phone number when adding a device.

3.3. TelePanel and cloud features: account data (e-mail, account ID), linked device data, technical logs of communication with the Company’s servers, and push tokens (if notifications are enabled). Processing takes place on servers operated by the Company and/or authorized hosting providers in the Russian Federation using protected channels (TLS/HTTPS).

3.4. Technical analytics and crash data (if not disabled in settings): launch counts, screens and features used, country and region, device model, OS and app version, crash information (stack traces, error codes).

3.5. The user may disable sending technical and crash data in the Application settings menu (where available in the installed version).

4. Disclosure to third parties

4.1. The Company does not sell personal data. Data may be disclosed:

— to the user through Application and service features;

— to contractors (hosting, push delivery, crash analytics platforms) only as needed to operate the Application, subject to applicable law;

— to competent authorities where required by law.

4.2. Phone numbers and SMS command content from SMS companion apps are not transferred to the Company’s employees and are not used for purposes other than controlling devices on the user’s device.

5. User rights

5.1. Users may request information about processing, correction, blocking, or deletion of their personal data, or withdraw consent, by e-mail to info@telemetrica.ru.

5.2. The Operator filed a notice with Roskomnadzor: No. 41267/78 dated 23 May 2025.

6. Security

6.1. On-device protection relies on the operating system; users should prevent unauthorized access to the device (screen lock, biometrics).

6.2. TelePanel provides sign-in protected by a password (or other authentication available in the installed version).

6.3. For cloud processing, the Company applies organizational and technical measures under Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ.

7. Other terms

7.1. The Company may change this Policy without separate consent; the new version takes effect when published on the website unless otherwise stated.
